In a message after the concert The Worshipful the Mayor and Mayoress of Hillingdon, Councillor Allan Kauffman and Mrs Lynne Kauffman said the following:

Please convey our thanks to Hilary [Musgrave] and the whole choir for the superb concert on Saturday 22nd March.  This is our second visit to your concerts [after your performance at Light Up A Life for Michael Sobell Hospice in December] and we hope there will be many more.  Many thanks to the chairperson Rosy Canter and her husband for being such attentive hosts.

The choir goes from strength to strength; your repertoire has that eclectic mix, including something for everyone, and some very challenging pieces for the choir.  We particularly loved Audrey Snyder’s Complete History of Western Music (Abridged).

Hilary’s performance credentials of stage presence and quality presentation permeate the whole choir; it is clear how much everyone in the choir enjoys themselves which is infectious for the audience.

Our special thanks to [your accompanist] Micheila [Connolly]…Her King Herod’s Song solo from Jesus Christ Superstar in Andrew Lloyd Webber: A Concert Celebration is a personal favourite.

Our thanks and appreciation to your guest soloist Janet Spotswood and her accompanist Mark [Smith] for a moving performance.

Good wishes for your next production in June.

We thank The Worshipful the Mayor and Mayoress of Hillingdon, Councillor Allan Kauffman and Mrs Lynne Kauffman very much for their incredibly kind words.
