Programme

Programme to feature music by Haydn and Mozart as well as two American tunes arranged by Bob Chilcott.  We will also be performing Africa, made famous by Toto, as well as three classic jazz spirituals.

We will be performing Pure Imagination, originally written by British composers Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley for the 1971 film Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory and It Had Better Be Tonight, originally taken from the 1963 film The Pink Panther but here in an arrangement by Alan Billingsley as performed by Michael Bublé.
We will also be singing three madrigals including one about a burgeoning romance between a sheepherder and a maiden with a very contemporary twist in which we explore the virtues (and pitfalls) of modern day social media!

Our guest soloist will be clarinettist and saxophonist Janet Spotswood accompanied by Mark Smith.
