Programme

Programme to feature three north east folk songs specially arranged by Philip Lawson for our 10th Anniversary year in 2009 as well as the traditional Down To The River To Pray.

We will also be performing popular contemporary songs including The Seal Lullaby by Eric Whitacre and the Academy Award winning theme song from the 2012 23rd Bond film Skyfall, co-written and originally performed by Adele.

We will finish will a medley of well-known songs from The Mamas & The Papas, The Beach Boys and The Turtles.

Guest Soloists

Our guest soloists will be The Lucy Hayes Quartet.

The Lucy Hayes Quartet all hail from the Guildhall School Of Music And Drama.  Having been studying and playing together for quite some time, the four play and communicate confidently, creating Jazz at the forefront of the genre.  Featuring Ali Watson on bass, Harry Ling on drums, Nathan Brown on guitar and Lucy Hayes on vocals.
